First and foremost a vocalist, greybarrel (Gabriel Fuson) draws much of his inspiration from a combination of classical & choral music and mainstream rock from the 60s to present.  The resultant aesthetic is melody-driven rock that gets heavy on the harmony.  In the span of one album, greybarrel can be found delivering a playful, tongue-in-cheek pop song, delving into patterns of the human condition in a slow-burner, and settling into a meditative canon.  greybarrel finds fulfillment and therapy in playing & singing and therefore seeks to write music that is accessible, genuine, and moving.
